Protect administration.
Dashboard authentication includes controls for repeated failed sign-ins and forged requests.
Run services on hardware under your control, with deliberate choices about access and external connections. Xelidoni brings authentication, controlled diagnostics and encrypted backup workflows into that approach.
Your hardware, your storage
Keep libraries and local model processing in your own home-server environment. Choose the storage and backup destinations that suit your setup.
Private remote access through Tailscale connects approved devices. Network access and permission to administer a service remain separate decisions.

Access with a purpose
Privacy depends on how information is handled throughout the system, from administration to diagnostics and backups.
Dashboard authentication includes controls for repeated failed sign-ins and forged requests.
Diagnostic exports select relevant records, exclude playback history and library inventory and check for credential patterns before download.
Service backup and recovery-kit workflows use encrypted archives, with integrity and read-back checks.
AI and external connections
The local alert-explanation feature works from a limited set of current service facts. A separate authenticated, read-only interface provides selected diagnostic information to connected tools.
Optional Claude and GPT API connections let you choose a cloud model when it suits the task. Selected prompts and context then leave the Mac and are processed by the chosen provider, under its own terms. The choice should reflect both your intended use and your comfort with that data sharing.
Apps may still contact external services for accounts, licensing, updates, notifications or configured backups. Local processing reduces what needs to leave the Mac; the complete data flow also depends on the apps and destinations in use.
